I am continually amazed at the capabilities of my RS7. Yesterday we drove home from Eastern Illinois University (where our son was competing in the IHSA track finals) to our house in Chicago. The trip was 190 miles and there were three of us plus luggage in the car. We averaged 80 + mph until we got close to home (yes, we have protection against the speed constables), and got an indicated 25.4 mpg for the trip; the motor is turning just 2000 rpm at that speed. Of course it's not great mileage in the bigger picture, but for a 560 hp automobile it's mighty fine....
