Infrared Camera False Positive
I drive a 2014 RS7. Best car I have ever owned.
That said, on two occasions since I purchased the car, the infrared camera system has logged a false positive human image in the middle of the road. The icon of a person walking appears in yellow, centered in the display. It holds for about two seconds and disappears from the DIS.
Has anyone else observed what I take to be a corner case concerning the maximum speed at which the system correctly detects human shaped objects?

I use night vision all the time. Never had a false positive human image. I did spot deer crossing the road, three deer in a field and a racoon in the left lane on separate occasions last night.

Left lane racoons are an issue - at least they were not feral pigs...
Thanks for the comment. I have followed up with Audi - we are in the three strikes and replacement and/or software update process. There does not appear to be a TSB, but Jim Ellis Audi will check further.
