Default RS& Restore/Repair Advice & Thoughts

Hi Guys!

New to forum here. Very handy and have done a lot of work on vehicles but haven't attempted anything this large before and thus, wanted to get the opinions of you fine experts as to what I'm looking at.

Looking to possibly repair this 2016 RS7:
https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/Vehicl...temID=22045758

Any thoughts on the extent of the mechanical damage (as a worst case scenario) and the work/cost necessary to repair this beauty to its old glory?

Thanks in advance!

I would not touch that car! No doubt front frame damage. Any damage that close to the engine can be risky....

thanks for the thoughts. is there a way to tell if this is a Performance or not and what options it has?

perhaps I can get one that has the rear-hit and use the front end from it. it would help me budget this if the options were known. anyone have access to the build sheet on it?

thanks

Can't tell for sure but I don't think it has ceramic brakes....no ceramic brakes=regular RS7 and not RS7 Performance.

Do you really want to be trying to piece together 2 damaged cars to make one RS7? Driving a car with this much performance that was build in this manner would worry me. I know there are a lot of great fabricators out there and they build some fantastic cars, but financially it may be better to just find a damage free CPO car and buy it.

from what i'm hearing, it's definitely not worth it. parts too expensive, damage to extensive. thanks for all the advice. really love the color combo though. it would be nice to be able to access the build specs to see what a comparable vehicle with same setup would cost. looks like it would need to be a custom built unit.

An friendly Audi dealer can reprint the window sticker (will include options/build specs) if you give them the VIN (WUAW2AFC2GN903472).
