Will 20" wheels fit the RS7 Performance?
#11
Thanks Curtis. I appreciate the info.
Anyone have any suggestions for wheel manufacturers, other than Audi, that will be reliable/durable enough to withstand the stress of a fair amount of track days?
Thanks.

Just checked all their web sites. Very impressive, their forged wheels are about a pound lighter than the HRE's. Unfortunately they don't make anything for the RS7 Performance, and only a few heavy cast wheels for the RS7. Seems odd.

^ Yes, those are the ones that the BBS web site shows only for the RS7. Tire Rack is showing those as also fitting the RS7 "with Ceramic Brakes".
The Tire Rack information is very encouraging. They show 27 wheels for the RS7, and 6 20" for the RS7 w/Ceramic. The difference is primarily in the offset. The range of offset they allow for the RS7 is 25 to 40 mm. The range for the RS7 w/Ceramic is 25 to 32 mm. I guess they think that a few mm one way or other is no big deal.
My HRE's are 30 mm offset, so it's looking good.
