Default All Season Tire Experience?

My recently purchased a '07 Rs4 has Conti DWS tires and they are in need of replacement within the next month.
The tires have around 25K on them and have become pretty noisy but are wearing fairly evenly.
I am considering either the new DWS06 or can get a very good deal on the Dunlop Signature HP.
Anyone have experience/advice?
I drive my car about 800 miles/month and have a Grand Cherokee for heavy winter use.
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Warhorse,

I have two Audis running DWS in the warmer months and considered buying them for my RS4 this spring as well, but went with Michelin Pilot A/S 3 and really couldn't be happier. The A/S 3's replaced Michelin Pilot Sport A/S which I liked too, but the A/S 3 seems to deliver a more quiet and compliant ride with even better performance. Of course, it's not really fair to compare an old tire with a new set, but hey!

Thanks ELEVENS

I was doing the same thing comparing the old DWS to the new 06, so it is valid IMO.I may just go with the Dunlops and save some money to buy some track tires and wheels.

Elevens,
How do you like your Q5? My ex-wife just bought a SQ5 and I'm anxious to drive it (if she'll let me ). And I am thinking of getting rid of my Grand Cherokee and getting a 5.

They're nice cars but then, that market segment is pretty crowded with nice SUVs. It tows my enclosed motorcycle trailer and the Lund fishing boat very well, but it's not the type of car I'd want to drive other than occasionally (with a purpose, i.e., towing and vacations). My wife has 130K miles on her Q. We'll probably replace it with a BMW at some point. I think BMW builds a better car but you'll pay an additional 10-20K$ for it.

I ran DWS on my Q5 and they did tend to get noisy toward the end. the new DWS06 is suppose to be better. I trust elevens experience with Michelin though and would look at those.
