Default Slightly bent wheel. Options?

Hey guys,

I have a slightly bent wheel that creates minor (but annoying) vibrations from time to time at different speeds. Are there options out there to straighten the bend? Or maybe balance it differently to offset the imperfection? Worst case scenario I buy a new or used wheel.

Thanks for any help!

Tim, why don't you have the wheel straightened or buy a replacement?

Yes, straightening is a possibility. I had it done with no traces left behind...

Great, I'll look into having it straightened. I wasn't sure how the outcome would be. Thanks for the help!

I just refinished 5 wheels on my daughter's A4 Cab. It took $30 to dismount the tires, about $120 in primer, silver, and clear paint, about 10 hours of sanding, filling, painting, wet sanding, painting, wet sanding, 3 coats of clear, wet sanding, buffing with compound, sealing with acrylic wax, then $105 to remount and balance. They turned out beautiful but frankly, next time I'm just going to drop them off and have them done professionally. It was a LOT of work and running around.

If it's not too bent, the wheel can be rebalanced to get rid of vibrations. Probably much cheaper than having it straightened, so worth a shot.
