2006 Audi S4 Codes in vehicle system??
Ok guys I want to buy this 2006 Audi s4 Quattro automatic
I took it into Audi for a pre inspection and they scanned the car and codes popped up they email me the list and I'm just confused why the list is so big? I only see 4 p codes , is there any way you guys can tell me what sensor is throwing these codes off? I want to purchase it but also don't want to be changing 10 sensors you know, any help would be appreciated thanks guys.

I see oxygen sensor's throwing codes. However, It is going to take more investigating than a simple scan to determine the problem especially because it's across both banks. Could be fueling or a whole handful of things.

If I were you I might look at a couple other S4's before buying this one. From experience codes like this are always hard to really tie down a cause and sometimes expensive.
Also some of the other repairs like an engine mount and possible seat module or worse can be costly.

So your saying I should pass on this vehicle? even tho its a 1 owner vehuicle and only 50,000 miles on it and about $6000 cheaper then others that have more mileage
from what I can see its only 4 codes? :
G39- Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S), lamda correction
18627 8 P2195 O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean Bank 1 Sensor 1
(Implausible Signal Intermittent)
Oxygen Sensors Bank1, Reversed
N144 Left Electro Hydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve
17981 4 P1573 Electro Hydraulic Engine Mount Solenoid Valve
open Circuit (No Signal/Communication Intermittent)
16840 1 P0456 EVAP Emission Contr.Sys. Very Small Leak Detected (Upper Limit Exceeded Intermittent)
Main Catalytic Converter Bank 2 Faulty
16815 1 P0431 Warm Up Catalyst, Bank2 Efficiency Below Threshold
(Upper Limit Exceeded Intermittent)

I wouldn't necessarily say pass on it. But in my mind it's probably something other than just sensors. I would do some research on each of the codes you have and see what other people have had for problems/cost of fixing it. That will give you an idea of if it's worth it or not.

ive tried researching but cant find much on the codes, every one has changed different things for each codes so its hard to pinpoint which part is going to solve the code, I actually picked up a parts car as well so I mean if I need anything I would have it on the parts S4 right

I like your thinking bro - just pick up another S4 , exactly my thoughts on my 1 month old S4. I would strongly suggest that you 1. clear all codes 2. drive the car for a week and more than 200-300 miles and check the codes again and see what come up.
Some times I do something on mine (last time spark plugs and compression check), I forget to clear the codes right after wards (as the manual says you should always do ) and there are 40-50+ intermitten codes that are useless. Could be similar to yours.
