Hi all,

So I picked up an '04 audi s4 (manual) today and had a couple questions. When i test drove the vehicle of course everything went perfect. About an hour into the drive home i started feeling a slight vibration through the whole car (not a tire/wheel vibration as i work in that business). When I'm sitting at idle and give it a decent rev to about 4k or so, i get a vibration that i can feel pretty good from my seat to the front of the car. I can also feel the vibration while accelerating through first and second gear as well. It almost seems like its lost a little power through first and second gear. although power from 3-6 is awesome still. I got home and shut it off, and then started it back up. When starting back up i got a loud rotating rattle for just over a second and then stopped and idles fine. Any ideas on what it could be?
been reading things on a flywheel. just not sure if that would make a sound at start up also. Any advice helps!!
