So, how have these cars been doing lately?

Our reliability stats for the A4 / S4 now include owner experiences through March 31, 2015. (Others are nearly a year behind.)

In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year ("low" is best):

2008 A4: 72, moderate
2008 S4 / RS4: 107, high, very small sample size
2007 A4: 58, moderate
2007 S4 / RS4: 83, moderate, small sample size
2005.5-2006 A4: 71, moderate
2005.5-2006 S4: 84, moderate, small sample size
2005 A4: 66, low, small sample size
2005 S4: 59, low, small sample size
2004 A4: 127, high
2004 S4: 74, low, small sample size

No stat for a model year? Then we very much need more participants for it. Same for those with small sample size notes. Next updates in August and November.

Our reliability stats for the A4 / S4 now cover the year ending June 30, 2015. (Others are over a year behind, and so report how these cars were doing when a year younger.)

Repair trips per 100 cars:

2008 A4: 58, moderate
2008 S4 / RS4: 82, moderate, very small sample size
2007 A4: 72, moderate
2007 S4 / RS4: 85, moderate, small sample size
2005.5-2006 A4: 84, moderate
2005.5-2006 S4: 81, moderate, small sample size

If a model year's sample size is small, then we especially need more owners involved.

We've updated our reliability stats for the A4 / S4 to include owner experiences through the end of 2015, about eight months ahead of other sources. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year--lower is better:

2008 A4: 80, moderate
2008 S4 / RS4: 112, high, very small sample size
2007 A4: 85, moderate
2007 S4 / RS4: 67, moderate, small sample size
2005.5-2006 A4: 84, moderate
2005.5-2006 S4: 55, low, very small sample size

We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:

2008 A4: 58, 4
2007 A4: 49, 3
2005.5-2006 A4: 50, 5

We'll have further updates in May and in August. The more owners participate, the more comprehensive and precise these will be.

Hey guys, I am considering to sign up and quickly looked at the site and specifically at Car Reliability by Brand, 2013 to 2015 | TrueDelta
At the bottom I read "Repair Trips per 100 Cars per Year". So if I make a new brand (e.g. "Grisho's most reliable car ever" ) and for 1 year I do not start it (=> 0 trips => 0 repair trips) then my company is going to top the chart?

Minimum sample size to appear on the public site is 25, and the average odometer reading is in the [?] notes.

Cool, I sell 25 cars, 0 are driven so I still top the chart
Correct? If so I would strongly suggest to add some kind of filter e.g. min 5000 miles per year or something better thought through. Otherwise I do not see any usefulness in it (nobody will check the "[?] notes" for each make/model/year/... when they want to use it.
