2008: 57

2007: 45

2005.5-
2006: 78

All are about average, and quite a bit better than the B6.

We're going to start providing new stats for the odds of requiring no repairs and the odds of getting a lemon. These require larger sample sizes, so additional participants would be helpful.

2008 A4: 59

2008 S4: not enough responses

2007 A4: 44

2007 S4: 19, but very small sample size

2005.5-
2006 A4: 76

2005.5-
2006 S4: 49

The 2005.5 and 2008 A4 are about average. The others, including all results for the S4, are better than average.

I'm a bit surprised that the S4 appears to require fewer repairs than the A4. The sample sizes for the S4 are small, though.

If more owners participate, we could provide more conclusive results. Next update in February.

The 2007 S4 is actually better than averege, but based on a very small sample size. The others are about average, and remain considerably better than the B6..

To provide an additional benefit, I recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record for cars 2000 MY and newer.

All results for the A4 are about average, and remain considerably better than the B6.

Those for the S4 are better than average but are based on small sample sizes. Also these cars are driven about 80% as much as the A4s.
