Default No voltage at Fuel Pump, P0627 initially then P0322

2005 S4 B6, will no longer start at first crank, only after a couple cranks. On a couple occasions it will not start at all, however it did start on a couple occasions the following day!!
First assumed a bad fuel pump since no fuel was reaching the fuel rack. When I got to the pump and cranked the engine, the fuel was being pumped out. Checked the fuel filter and it was totally clogged. Reverse clean it, with air and carburetor cleaner -- dried it and put it back while waiting for a new one.
The car started no problem and was driven for a mile or so, the motor was sluggish, no power and the check engine light flickered then came on steady. The car will not start after that and after replacing the filter. Checked the fuel pump connector and no voltage was present, checked the pump relay and it was good but it was not getting any control signal from the ECU.
Did an OBDII scan and first got P0627 "ECM detected an open or short in the fuel pump relay circuit". Checked for bad connectors /wires none was damaged. Cleared the error, cranked the engine few times and still no electric signal going to the pump. Scanned again and the error code become P0322 "Ignition/Distributor Speed Input Circuit No Signal" and still no signal to activate the pump. Reading other similar threads points to a defective Crankshaft Position Sensor but I'm becoming doubtful and seeking other thoughts before ordering the sensor.
Does someone have a wiring schematic showing the pin numbers of the ECU for the B6 S4.
Cheers.
