Default S4 died on the road

Hi. This is my first post on this board.

I have a 2004 S4 Avant. Coming home from a relatively hot day, driving in rush hour traffic with heavy AC use, my car died. Luckily it happened as I was pulling off the freeway a few blocks from home. The car just shut off. No CEL or warning. I let it cool down for an hour or so and tried starting it. It turns over, but does not start.

I did some basic troubleshooting, but before replacing parts I decided to get a V-Checker V202 from ECS. I pulled the following codes:

18308.P1900
Coolant Fan Control
2: Open or Short to ground

18080.P1672
Radiator fan activation
1: Open or short to ground

18010.P1602
Power supply (B+ terminal)
30: Low voltage

Did some googling but didn't find my exact issue. I've already checked fuses, charged battery, checked fuel pump, etc. I'll troubleshoot radiator fan/cooling system next.

My question is will a bad fan control interrupt the ignition system, causing my no start condition? Sounds reasonable to do this to protect the engine, but I could find no documentation.

Thanks!
