the rusted old stock section had holes...has been cut out already and replaced....


I bought someones best effort...but way way to loud.
2004 s4 (b6) custom cat less headers..very well made.
AWE twin tip exhaust.

yes the far is fast...but too loud. there's a high frequency resonance...really makes the car sound like a rice burner or a 2 stroke dirtbike..times 10.

My track setup shop said add a resonator but they aren't up for a R&D project. I do have access to a good exhaust weld shop.

has anyone installed resonators in front of the AWE exhaust? I'm asking for help here before I buy the resonators and have someone start welding them in. I expect ill need to cut into the AWE a bit.
