Default Thinking about buying an s4

So I got offered this 2005 B6 S4 today for $5,000. It is black with Nogaro Blue interior and aftermarket Avant Garde wheels. I am torn on the decision as the guy says it has a "small oil leak" which he believes is from the oil pan itself. Now I understand the timing belt is notorious for going bad on most audi's these days, or the motor itself rather, given the B6 came with the metal chain instead of a belt. Now to me hearing there was an oil leak immediately threw me a curve ball because I have never dealt with an Audi that has an oil leak, so I found it quite strange. Anyway this is a Craigslist car and it seems to be in good shape but who knows. Any thoughts on this matter from anyone? I'm not very educated as far as S4's go. Also, is that combination rare at all? It comes with a manual transmission as well if that helps my case.

Thanks,

-Harrison

Hey Harrison, if you search on this forum and just generally on google you will find lots of information - some fairy tales, some real. Probably best would be is to take the car to get it checked out by a shop that knows Audis, you will spend some money but you will find out good information.
