2011 S4 Hard shift to first
My MY11 S4 (w/ DSG) has developed a progressively worse 'hard-shift' to 1st gear when rolling to a stop. At times it felt like a gentle rear-ending.
During the service last week, the SVM update 2027363/3 was applied, and the problem has gone. In other threads I've read about similar issues, some resulting in replacement TCM, but in this case (so far and fingers crossed), a no-charge software update seems to have done the trick.
