2012 s4 side skirt upgrade
hey guys, I was parked at the plaza close to the curb on the right side. Completely forgot about the curb, and turned the steering wheel all the way to the right and started driving.... So I pretty much end up on the curb with my passenger side.
Skirt damaged, metal frame under the skirt went a little in, damaged as well. (will attach a picture soon). So I want to replace the skirt, but If I will go with the original one that came with the car, I will have to repair the metal frame as well - but I don't want to do that.
I found this thread, https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-...ughts-2811234/ user name Vaporize has a side skirt that covers the metal frame on the bottom.
Anyone knows what kind of skirt is that (cotacted Vaporize already - waiting for a reply)? Or maybe there are similar ones I can get?
Thanks guys, looking forward for some help!

here are the pictures of the damaged frame under the skirt, and the skirt it self.
if I find a skirt that will cover the bottom metal part, i would then just buy it and install it, and forget about fixing the metal

My 2 cents.. I would fix it right with original side skirt and bend the metal back. It also looks like your door gap has been compromised as well. Getting the original skirt off can be a pain, you need a heat gun and teflon tools and it's connected to the body in a number of places. I have had after market side skirts and if you get them then need to be well made and engineered to fit perfectly or you will be doing some body work anyway. Sorry you hurt your car...

Wanted to delete this thread, but don't know how.
I actually spoke with my body shop, I'm gonna get this fixed for $300 CAD, everything included. No point of getting aftermarket skirts, have them painted and then installed - will overpay by doing that. thanks anyways
