2014 Audi S4 Front Passenger Panel
A couple weeks ago I unfortunately hit a deer with my car. I put the claim in with the insurance and brought my car to the auto body shop. Now the guy that worked on my car said he used all OEM replacement parts. I was washing my car today when I noticed something. The front passenger side panel says something that I have never noticed before.
I never noticed my panel saying "Tang Yang 16 04 C" I am a little suspicious that the shop worker did NOT use OEM parts. In addition if I make a closed fist and lightly pound on the side panel it seems very light and makes much more noise compared to when I do the exact same thing on my driver side panel. When I do the same thing to my driver side panel it sounds very dense and makes very little noise.
Can anyone help me out in determining if this is an OEM side panel that was put on. Maybe someone can check their S4 and see if you see the same "Tang Yang 16 04 C" It would be much appreciated.

Tong Yang is a Taiwanese metal fabricating company...
… they make replacement body parts that are definitely NOT OEM. You were likely deceived. I don't know who your insurance agent is, but this is an issue for them. If you leased the car, this will impact your negotiations upon return. Investigate this quickly… sorry for the news
Good Luck

The auto body shop may be guilty of insurance fraud (aganist you and your insurance provider) if they submitted a claim for OEM parts but supplied aftermarket replacement parts instead.
