"Adaptive Cruise" terminology, did I get hosed by a dealer?

On the lnterstate l go to the left lane to avoid slower traffic. Not a necessity but l enjoy it.
Yeah, regular CC is pretty useless and I also rarely ever used it. ACC with a manual transmission is also rather pointless as the system doesn't have full control over the powertrain, but ACC combined with the DSG is rather useful in daily traffic. Makes driving on the highway with changing traffic conditions much less frustrating and tiring. Wouldn't get another car w/o it.

Not sure why they even put cruise on the S4, it's way too much fun then to just go one speed all the time. A4 maybe, S4 no.

Really? Just because it's an S or RS doesn't mean owners don't do mundane driving or are immune to traffic. This makes no sense. I've done 12 hour road trips, 800+ miles in a single day with my RS5 and I very much appreciated ACC on those trips.

Relax, I'm just trying to make a cheeky point that the car is fun. Of course they have to have cruise control on the car. I just don't use it and I drive it one way 100 miles twice a week.
