Which All Seasons do you recommend on the stock 19s?

If snow traction is a considerations, the Contis will be better than the Michelins in that respect.

Give some consideration to the Yokohama advan sport A/S, just put a set on my A6 (20") after hearing stories of the noise produced by the Michelin a/s 3.
So far so good for an all season, good steering response and quiet smooth ride.

I would not use the Pilot Sport AS/3 with any sort of confidence in the snow
All Season is 3-season, it is NOT a winter tire, it's a great tire, I have them and love them but the are no good in the snow.

You guys gotta stop saying that all seasons are going to be completely useless in the snow.
On my 2013 A4 I have ran these pathetic Pirelli P6 Four Seasons tires for 2 winters in Denver, Colorado with no problem what so ever.
I have done 4 runs up to the ski resorts on completely snow covered I-70 with blizzard conditions doing 6000 feet elevation gains and being JUST FINE with all season tires.
NO they are not as good as a winter tire. But they are NOT going to put you into a ditch either. Just drive smart. A good all season tire such as the Michelin A/S or Hankook Ventus or Continental DWS will be extremely good for when you need that little bit of snow traction.
Quattro makes this possible and unless you are seeing massive winters consistently you can get away with all season tires. The days where you get 2 feet of snow you can't even drive your A4/S4 because the clearance won't even be available for it.

The all season tires on my 2 year leased infiniti g37x were perfectly fine, they got me through 2 years of winter in New England, so I have no problem running a/s tires.

there is nothing in common with the Pilot Sport AS/3 (or previous) and the P6 4-seasons you're saying worked fine, nothing
the Pilot is a ultra high performance RAIN tire, it is phenomenal in that regard, it is NOT designed to grip on snow, slush, or ice and should be treated as any other summer tire in that regard.
There are all season tires that work in snow reasonably well, the Pilot Sport is not one of them.

Quattro makes it possible for you to move foward, climb, and change direction a bit, it does absolutely nothing to stop you.

But as you later mention there are several good all season tires for the snow and people should not be discouraged from buying them and having them on year round.

Yes this is the exact situation I am in as well. I lease my vehicles so its not very practical for me to be running two different set ups all the time.

All seasons will get most people where they need to go with these conditions. 1) They have good tread. Worn a/s tires will not give you sufficient traction in snow or ice. 2) You have AWD or 4WD. 3) You live in an area that does not get large accumulations of snow and that plow the roads expediently.
If you get snowfall like Buffalo experienced this year, NOBODY is going anywhere with their Quattro and winter tires. If you live out in the bondocks or need to travel through unplowed roads, winter tires are a must. But for many of us that live in the Boston/NYC/Philly/DC megalopolis, All Season tires can get the job done.

Pilot A/S3 is indeed an all season tire and designed for use in light snow. It may not be up to the standards of the Continental DWS (widely considered the best AS tire in snow) but it is designed to be used in winter and light snow. In fact in tire rack's testing the A/S 3s significantly outperformed the Potenza RE970AS.
