Anyone have this issue? I have a 2012 S4 with the B and O system. My nav,satelite, and phone book all display while iphone is connected, but my iphone will not display in the source page. I can charge the phone, but that is it. I have the iPhone 5 and correct adapter. It worked fine at first and now 3 months later, stopped working. I am sure it is a software issue. I have an appointment to get it looked at, but would like to fix on my own. Any ideas?

If the correct adapter is an apple clone rather than an actual apple product, that could be the problem. I have heard that there are some clones that do work, but I can attest that the apple product does work on my 2010 non b&o non nav car.

Try rebooting the iPhone while connected (if you haven't already tried that). Not just turning it off but a hard reset. (Hold top and front buttons down until the Apple logo reappears),

Thanks. I took it in to the Audi dealer today. Here's what they told me. Since Apple does not share their software with Audi, the Apple IPhone 5 connector may or may not work properly. Until Audi comes out with an updated connector to their MMI, those of us with the IPhone 5 will continue to experience glitches from time to time. I did purchase a connector from the Apple website, thinking that it would work, since it was the legitimate product. Oh well, i'll have to wait for Audi to catch up.

The problems didn't start with the iPhone 5 and the new connector. I have an iPhone 4 (with a 2010 A4 with B&O, Nav, MMI), and there are times when the MMI screen reads "loading..." indefinitely, times when the names of the music files don't load but the music plays, times when the podcasts from one source are listed under another, etc. Sometimes I have to reboot both the phone and the MMI system to get things working right.
