Brakes pads worn symbol

Brakes pads worn symbol
I just had a green "brake pads worn" symbol light up in my car. I have a 2010 with 65K kilometers (40K miles).
I do not have time to have the car fixed this week. Can I still continue to drive it for the next week or two or should immediately stop using it?
The brakes have never been replaced. Is it most likely the front or the rear brakes that need to be replaced?

There is only one wear sensor on the brakes and it is located on the driver's side front pad.
Easy DIY.
