Default Cold weather and brake squeal
Anyone have any issues with cold weather and brake squeal? Just started with the cold weather. Never had an issue before. 2013 S4...

No, no one ever has had any brake squeal issues with the S4's. (jk)

Funny you should ask - Just starting happening to me here in St. Louis with freezing temps. I only have 23K on odometer...

Yep...it happens. Just started up again with me in the last two days. Did the same thing last winter.

Same here ... very first winter it didn't do it at all but last winter it started and it's already back again for this season. The good thing is that it goes away as soon as the system warms up.

Also, use your brakes a bit more aggressively and it'll go away as well. These are made to be used.

On day four of a brand new S4 and noticed some light noise, but went away.

I just picked up my 2011 from the dealer yesterday after getting the pads and rotors replaced under warranty for that exact reason.

TSB issued for the problem - 2027636/2
=Law= is offline
