I can't speak to the HP gains, but I'm in love with the look and supercharger whine this intake has provided. Customer Service at ECS is also great!

I installed mine about a month ago. Ordered it Monday night, had it delivered and installed on Wednesday.

$459 pricing was the Holiday sale kick off price. Which after 10 days charged to $469 for the remainder of the holiday season.

We do not have any sales planned at the moment but things are always changing around here so the best advice I can give is to get on the e-mail list and sign up for "Price Alert" under the Track and Share tab which will e-mail you the moment pricing changes.
