Engine bay wheel well covers?

Engine bay wheel well covers?
Question, the covers that cover up the hole to your wheel well from the engine bay that looks down to your struts/springs. One of them is mia the other was found in my girlfriends deiveway. I noticed before the one disappeared that they were shifting under the hood. I know they have a seam that should fit to hold them in place. Clearly. Nope in my application. A. Hints to keep them seated. B. Umm I need a new one apparently. Just go to Audi? And c. Purpose other than to keep inside the engine bay clean from road debris kicked up by the tires (under my hood is not splashed with road salt and crap from this wet winter. Super...
