Default EPC Warning Light

Hey All,

I was just driving down today, and was in Sports mode, all of a sudden i see an EPC light show up with a message that says "Do not exceed max engine speed of 4000 rpm". I am not sure why this message is showing up; I pulled over and turned off the car and turned it back on, and the message was gone. Has anyone else seen this before? I will be taking it to the dealer this week, hopefully it's nothing major, only owned the car for a month or so.

Default Update

Forgot to update this thread, the EPC light was coming up due to: INTERNAL FAILURE OF OIL PRESURE SENSOR, it was replaced free of charge by Audi, and now the car runs like its brand new.

Thanks,

Thanks,
What was the part number for the oil pressure switch that audi replaced for you?

I took my '14 s4 to the dealer i bought it from, they replaced the oil pressure sensor
part #038-919-081-P

brought it there again weeks later with same issue as before, they coded, found misfire, replaced the switch again, still having issue...

no dice there, so i just brought it to my local audi dealer, payed $302 for their inspection, and they quoted me 1,781 to replace the same switch, which apparently continued to throw a code, but instead of a misfire code, just the oil pressure switch code.

Not sure what do to, or whether I should pay this, or bring to another shop.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
