I purchased a 2011 S4 premium this week with 27k miles and I am thinking I might actually purchase an extended warranty. I have 4 months of original warranty left, so I have time to think, but I have never bought nor needed an extended warranty on anything in the past. I am wondering if there are some suggestions as to a warranty company I might consider and whether I should be worried at all. I plan on keeping the car for three or four years and adding maybe 30k miles at most.

I purchased a policy from Fidelity from Troy at FD Warranty. He is an Audi dealer in Connecticut that sells on the Internet at a price unlikely to be bettered by a local Audi dealer. (Most Audi dealers sell Fidelity policies.). See his website for plenty of information.

I have also read about Zurich on the forums and they sound solid. AAA also sells policies. It is important to understand deductibles, exclusions / coverage level and how term works (e.g. A 100K mile policy with Fidelity expires 100K miles from purchase with others might expire when car reaches 100K miles).
