I like them. They do provide a bit of security (next to impossible to remove without the tool) and they keep the lug bolts very clean. Plus I like the way they look. Now that I've had them for the past 18 months I think the naked lug bolts look like they are missing something.

Just for the record, Audi's (cars for that matter, outside of some very special vintage cars) should not be considered an investment.

Yes I know...depreciating value and all that...I pay almost as much on my mortagage as my car payments. There are SO MANY better ways of spending money. But hey, you only live once, and my Audis are an investment in my happiness

As for those caps, I didn't have the plastic tool, so I just went at them with a socket as if they were the real lugs, and after about 2 clicks they pop right off...
I think I may have had trouble with just one of them, but that just took 4 or 5 clicks instead of 2

For kindergarteners yes, for semi-pros the cure for the ubiquitous McGards costs $5, to complicate things a bit get this, although they may total your car trying to get into the trunk to get the key
