Understood. Just thought the VagCom work described above enables the can bus module as well as the corresponding mmi module. Looks like it just does the latter.

From what I saw in the PDF listed, the 19 module is not touched. When you code the Gateway module, you are telling it all modules that are in the car. When is does not see any communication from that module(s) is when the DTCs and faults start to show up with warnings.

So besides coding something in Module 19, do I also need to change something in the hidden menu (which I haven't activated yet) or does that really just control MMI features? So for example, I find the right byte/bit to turn off in module 19 to 'turn off' the ads suspension module but I leave charisma on (default for ads cars). When I take out the ads dampers, There shoud be no error code in DIS (and maybe not a fault code via VagCom), but MMI would still show Audi Drive Select in the car menu. Does that sound right?

I have done everything for this but I am still not able to see 'Audi Drive Select' choice in my MMI (I have Audi Concert Radio but it includes an MMI or AMI). how to enable it?

Hey guys, I am new to Audi world and have been searching all over for how to do the ADS enable in my 2012 Q7 TDI S-Line. I can't find the info on it anywhere. I have been able to make all of the changes in the green menu but in VCDS My “09-Cent. Elect" does not have long coding available, could it be different for my Q7?
