Default Inside of headlamp is foggy looking?

I did a quick search and didn't see any info on this. I just upgraded last week from my 2004 A4 ultrasport to an 2011 S4. Awesome car so far. I picked the car up in NY and drove it back down to NC...Went to the dealership today because I noticed the drivers side headlamp has discoloration on the inside of the lens and I would hope to have both headlamps replaced under warranty. Audi guy says there haven't been any issues with these lamps and doubts they'd be covered under warranty. Has anyone has had this issue? Did the dealership replace? I shouldn't have to act like an ******* to get them to do their job but I'll do it if I need to. Both lamps have the defect but it's much worse on the drivers side. It's not condensation. It looks similar to a mild calcium buildup on the lower half of the lens. Could be a heat issue with the led's? It clearly seems like a quality issue to me. Any advise?

Our new S4 showed a little fog on a very rainy day while driving during our European delivery last month. The current manual now says this is normal.

Thanks gforaker. I did read about a few people having issues with temporary condensation until they run their lamps. This discoloration looks like a cloudy white buildup. With the car only being 3 years old it seems like the lens would be crystal clear. Just checking to see if anyone had a similar issue.

Went back for an appointment at the dealership and they said it's most likely salt built up on the back of the lens. They guess salt has been pulled into the headlamp housing through the vent hose which has the opening directly behind the grill. Every headlamp has built in vents but they are suppose to also use gore or another type of permeable textile to keep out contaminants. I'm guessing this must be a common thing that northerners have to deal with. Dealership said replacement under warranty is not likely but we're going to try.
