Default Interior/Exterior Protection + Diamond Fusion? Worth It?

Hello All,

Before I take delivery, my dealer is trying to sell me a few other packages for vehicle protection.
  1. Interior Protection - $699
  2. Exterior Protection - $699
  3. Diamond Fusion - $499
The "package" deal at the point of sale is to do all for $1,200 (a savings of $700).

Did any of you all do this? Is this worth it?

Please advise, thank you!

Well the whole song and dance is that all of it comes with a 5 year guarantee. You get a sap stain on the outside, its taken care of. Salt stain on the inside, taken care of. Any sort of stains whatsoever, taken care of.

If everyone thinks my money is better spent elsewhere, I'll pass on it but I am looking for some more opinions on this :-)

Hello All,

For what it's worth, I passed on it. I take amazing care of my cars anyways, no need for another $1,200 to do what I already do.

Thanks for the input and consideration!

Had the same decision to make when I got my 2014. My reasoning was the same as yours. I figured I could fix a lot of wheel rash for that amount of money

If you're looking for exterior protection, conside Optimum's Opti-Coat Pro. Permanent paint protection with no need to wax. Mine is almost 2 years old and after a wash, still looks glossy. I haven't found the need to wax (although you can, it doesn't really add any more shine, just a slicker feel to the Opti-Coat). It also seems to keep the dirt down and it comes off more easily when washed. I paid my detailer $300 for the full car including the wheels.
