Is it red exterior? I think many of the auto show cars were red one year and sometimes have exclusive treatments for more wow factor. Maybe an exec took it after the show one year. Or as you said an exec just ordered it special. Either way it is pretty rare. Does it also have white/ grey piping around the floor mats? I think that is part of the exclusive treatment too. Very subtle for an exclusive but maybe that's what they were going for.

Yes, exterior is red
Yes, white piping around the floor mats

That would make a lot of since because the car was in the US for an entire year before it was available for sale. Now that would make since of the carfax. Is it good to buy a former show car?

I would think it would be a good thing, provided it was properly cleaned. A lot of people probably sat in it, but very little actually driven.
