Once upon a time…

...when we installed the SPC Adjustable Control Arms to our Samoa Orange Audi S5, there was no question that they performed as intended: Our camber measurements were back in an acceptable range that would improve both handling and tire wear.

Then…

Something scary happened. When the front suspension compressed with the SPC arms installed, the upper control arms came into contact with the wiring harnesses that are routed through both front fender wells. Wear ensued.

But why does this matter, AWE Tuning?

Great question. In modern vehicles, the wiring harness is like the human nervous system; it transports both power and signals to and from various systems and components, and is hypercritical to maintaining overall vehicle function and control. Over time, repeated contact of the suspension with the wiring harness will compromise the integrity of the wiring itself, which will inevitably lead to expensive repairs further down the road. To combat this critical issue our engineers devised the AWE Tuning Wiring Harness Relocation Kit. CNC’d out of 6061 billet aluminum, the kit contains two simple brackets that relocate your B8 S4's wiring harness out of the danger zone, and keep systems in the clear.



How might one attain this level of billet bracketry?
