So I have a 2014 S4 that I just got. I have been searching online and it seems like I should have keyless entry (I have a push button and my trunk opens when I'm near it) but my doors don't open when I try to pull the handle. The handles have the little square, but it's not a button; it's just a painted over square. Do I actually not have keyless entry or is it some other issue? Thanks

My 2014 S4 has keyless entry. When my car sat for a few days it stopped working. Used the remote to open and close the doors to reset the system. You can go into the menu and see if this has been turned off. Otherwise call the dealer your car should still be under warranty.

Your description of your door handle sounds identical to mine. Also the trunk is keyless if you have your fob on your person.

Key less entry was made standard for 2014, So you do have it.

Do you have Smart key with Push button start? That tiny square thing on the door handles is to lock them. To open, I just hold my hand on the door handle for 1 sec and it unlocks.

On my 2016 sometimes that works and sometimes it does not work. It is almost random :-\

Thinking that maybe your fob battery is low but when our fobs got low a warning comes on the screen between the tach and speedo...fortuneately the battery is super easy to change.
