So I've scoured the web and this site and can't seem to come up with an answer.

What kind of leather is paired with the Alcantara?

Is it the silk nappa or something less desirable?

To my knowledge, it's a manmade material resembling leather. In some ways, it's suppose to exceed real leather. I've sat in both standard leather and Alcantara seats, and have to admit the Alcantara was more comfortable. Also I've noticed it advertised in many other high end autos. When I searched the web, I thought was directed to the mfg's site. (not exactly sure)

I think he's asking which leather is in the interior with the Alcantara, not what is Alcantara. Since the Alcantara interior is only part Alcantara...

It's the same as comes on the silk nappa, the difference is that the 1K charge for the nappa is a full covering of all surfaces.

yup, I'm insanely happy that alcantara is not an option as I actually prefer that over leather!
