Default Preventing my keyfob from opening the trunk...

Is there a way to prevent the remote from opening the trunk, I will like to disable this feature. Sometimes I would accidentally press the remote and the trunk will open without me knowing..

No. You can stop the rear handle on the car being active but not the remote button.

Stopping sitting on your keys!!

You have to hold it down for several seconds, it's not just a simple push, right?

Audi makes a little case for the key fob. It can be zipped open while still attached to allow the key to go into the ignition slot. The case should provide enough protection to prevent the buttons being pushed inside your pocket.

If you're like me and wear jeans most of the time, I find that the small inner pocket on my jeans is perfect for the key fob -- and since this is higher up and further back in the lap, the key fob is not prone to getting pressed accidentally.

A bit off the original topic. How do I open the trunk lid using the trunk lid lever? Sounds silly, but I have not been able to figure it out. I have all the doors unlock and still can't open the lid using the lever.

There's a button in the middle of the trunk lid right above the license plate holder.

Yes, I tried depressing this button with doors unlock but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
