it just involves hooking up computer, mine was done at port on my new 2015 s4

The letter I got said it should take less than an hour. Haven't scheduled it yet though.

Mine took 30-40 minutes so I just wandered around the show room and lot (and Porsche lot next door) while I waited for it.

Did they wash your car???

They would have washed it but I always ask them not to wash it after someone there once removed Xpel PPF off my headlight while washing it. They paid to fix it but cost me a bunch of time and I still don't know how they removed it by accident. Therefore I prefer to wash it myself or use one of the two detailers I trust to do it.

takes an hour or less. i did it on my '13 about 2 weeks ago.

Have any of you noticed changes in handling since you complied with the recall? Some folks over at the AZ forum seem to think/feel that the handling characteristics of their cars have changed since they had theirs done, even though it's supposedly just a software adjustment to airbag control module.

I have noticed no differences (and responded to the AZ thread as well). I believe the AZ thread was started by someone who thought there was an issue with steering feel rather than handling and the majority of people effectively told him it was in his head.
