S4 - B8 Reliability

The dealership that I'm buying from has a CPO warranty through Warrantech, however, the issue is that the car is already modded. The few others that I've called, they said that it voids the warranty if modded, which I get, but I don't plan on adding anything else, honestly. I just fear that the engine goes out before the warranty is up, and then I get denied even though I paid for the warranty with those parts previously existing.

Just a thought...
That price (~$26K) would easily cover a 36 month lease of a new S4 with free maintenance. If you do not exceed 15K miles/year, it may be a good option for you.

Not a big fan of leasing cars, however, I've decided not to pull the trigger on this one, and save up a little more money for a lower mileage car. The PPI showed a lot of things anyways (granted, it was a competitor dealer doing the PPI), but in the end I was not comfortable with the aftermarket parts and potential void of warranty.
Thanks for all the help guys!

Based on the info in this thread it sounds like you should just 'move on', and now know more about what you seek.
Good luck.
