Default Dash Pic with No Navi Screen

Hey Guys,
First post here, although I've read quite a bit the last couple days - GREAT FORUM!!!

I'm on the verge of trading in my 2007 A4 3.2 for a 2010 S4. The other car I was considering was a BMW 335d.

But after driving the S4 yesterday, I'm sold. It's great that Audi has something that can match-up against a 335. It's nice to stay in the family, as my last two cars have been A4's.

Question - anyone know where I can get a pic of the dash with no navi? All the pics on the web are with the navi screen.

Thanks!!!

Easy! You ask on a forum

Left is without Nav. Right is with.

Note : These are UK cars. You may not get the 6CD with the Nav. These are 2G pics.

3G has the small cursor in the MMI rotary controller and two CD slots.

Nice, thanks!

So it looks like the MMI screen that's currently in my 07 A4 with Nav.

Thanks for the post

Does the setup w/out nav still have the S-drive slots? Any clues on how to use these to load music on the hard drive? Probably a $300 hardware data transfer device, convieniently sold by Audi...

SD slot for non-NAV unit is at the lower right of the INFO button. Just look at the pic above.

Loading music on Hard Drive is only available with NAV. And I heard only 10GB is usable. So you are better off getting a couple cheap SD cards since there are 2 SD slots for NAV units.

BTW, that pic with NAV unit above is European model. The NA model gets this:

Behind the cover under DVD slot is the 2 SD Slots.

Thanks to all.

The center console looks kinda plain without all the nav dials. Would be nice if there was a carbon insert for it...

Ooops in my post above I said 3G had 2 CD slots. This should have read 2 SD slots. Sorry.

Actually, I find I have to keep searching for the NAV dials when it was on the dash. But perfectly natural when it's behind the shifter. Probably because of the horizontal placement make it feel more like a joystick/mouse.

Go see one in person, it's not as plain as you think. And if you're not planning to buy NAV anyway, it won't be a problem at all.
