I am looking for a set of wheels for my winter set-up. I found a set of peelers that look pretty rough. The seller is offering them at $700 shipped. It seems a little high considering their condition, but I figured I would check here first. Thanks in advance for the help.

If they are straight and shipping adds $ 50 each, $ 500 a set is probably still OK for rough OEM peelers.

There's a set of S5 peelers in the classified forum with almost new snow tires for $600 bucks (pick-up or plus shipping).

Thanks for the replies.

I saw the S5 peelers, but I thought they had a different offset from the S4 and would rub. Is that true?

Also, do you think the rough "real" peelers are still better than a set of eBay replicas for a similar price?

If you have newish PSS tires on them, they're worth what the tires are worth. About $800-$1000.

In this condition they're worth about $100 each.

Or you can look for a set of used Hartmann HRS6 (or any of their line of wheels). Similar quality as OEM, not like the cheap EBay knockoffs from China.
