Default Wheel offset help please.

Hey guys,

Was searching and searching (including here) to find what offset will work for me on a set of 19x9.5" rims on my new Audi S4 2015...

The options in the wheel I want are 32mm and 53mm. I have heard from a couple local tire shops that 19x9.5 et53 will work with my factory 255/35R19 tires without rubbing anywhere but I wanted to check with you guys before I hit the order button!

Thanks for your help and great forum.

53 sounds like it is pushing it too much to the inside. Check this link to help you do the calcs. 1010TIRES.COM - Wheel Offset Calculator

Just so you know I am running a 20x9 with a 41 offset with 265/30's and when I get close to max spring compression in the rear I do scrape just a little in the rear.

I think 9.5 is too wide at that offset. For 9.5 to work you really need an offset of 45, no more no less. Also with 9.5" and 255's you're really running the risk of curb rash on the rims because I think for a 255 tire in a 35 series 9.5 is the max width in terms of rims. Any chance you get a 9"?

Thanks, I've been all over that calculator!

I'm wondering if these cars have that much clearance in?

Because I'm pretty sure the 32mm offset will rub the fenders as it would stick out an inch past stock.

On the inside even with my wheels I am super close to the suspension components, i haven't measured it but its not something i'd want to push closer by more then a few mm. Check tireracks site, the only 19x9.5's they sell all have a 45 offset. Even my setup is probably about 1mm too far out. It really should be 40 instead of 41 and I would probably get zero scrape.

Thanks for the info, I think I will look for some 9" wide or 8.5" wide and different offset so I know for sure I am good.

Ideally 8.5" wide with 43mm offset to match the factory specs just with a different look.

Well I think I got it figured.

Ordered 19x9.5 wheels with 41mm set for the factory 255/35R19's

I'll post up if it's a disaster haha.

Got it done... No rubbing and looks good I think! Went with TSW Interlagos, 19x9.5 41mm offset and stock 255/35R19 rubber. Now to lower it!
