Default Wheels for S4

Hi guys, I used to hang out here with my 2001 S4 back when it was new, then faded away. Now back with a 2015 S4 with 18" standard wheels which I'm not especially fond of. Thinking about BBS CHs in 18 or 19. Anybody know of some pix os S4s with this wheel in both sizes for comparison. The Tirerack site isn't realistic enough. I live in Sonoma County which has 3rd world country roads, so I'm tempted to go with 18s for the increased sidewall height. Seems like the CH looks larger because of the design with the large center "plate" from which the spokes radiate. Any thoughts? Thanks

The ultimate B8 S4/A4 wheel fitment discussion. Go with 19s. This car BEGS for 19" wheels.

I agree that 19s will (according to taste) look better, but be careful with poor roads. I ran plus1 on my 2000 S4 and the look and performance was exactly what I wanted! One night on an unfamiliar road I hit a hole and my first bent wheel! Not much later, I had two bent rims. The best advice I can offer is properly sized/inflated tires - besides proper wear, this will give you the best protection for your wheels when you hit that hole. I usually try to stay on familiar roads at night or slow down to have a better chance to see potholes when I don't know the area. My '13 has the Audi 19 inch wheels, but I run 18s with my winter rubber...
