They are very firm, not at all plush and spongy. They really are a sport seat, not just called one. But the shape and adjustment is good. I was worried about whether the fixed headrest would be too low (I am 182cm, 85kg), but it was fine.

However, if someone finds the S sport seats in the B8 models, or those fitted in C7 (eg S6/S7) too firm or confining for their body shape, then they could have a problem. Because these feel firmer, but they also kept me more stable for harder cornering. I have Valcona leather sport seats in my A7, and Nappa leather S sport seats in my B8 S5.

Thomas has very strong feelings about using leather, as he is a devout Vegan, and I think if the S sport seats were available in Alcantara, he would not have been so critical.

Anyway, it seems in NA you are not getting a choice, so no point wondering whether you chose the right seat

BTW, that Navarra Blue Avant has the 18" winter wheel accessory option, and the tyres are Blizzaks. Not the right tyre for an S4, as he demonstrates early on in the video, ~01:12! And also the reason for the 210kph vmax warning label near the light switch, which at one stage I thought he was going to go past.

Weirdly, the B9 A4 Allroad has a winter wheel set that comes with Michelin Pilot Alpin 4, which are exactly the type of high performance winter tyre needed by an S4.
