Default Seat Wear Issue '05 S4

The outside verticle seam of the driver's-side seat (Recaro style seat) is showing wear-through and discoloring (dirt)on a small (half inch) area. The car is new to me so no idea why how that wear occurred - maybe seat belt? Any thoughts on how that may have occurred, and best solution to repair it?

Pictures would hepl us identify the problem. Also, you're thread should be in the B7 forum (2005-2008 models), not in the B9 one.

3M seams to offer a good solution.

Thank you. I was aware of that 3M (and several similar) option. The damage is not that extensive. You are right. A photo would help. I'll get back later - in the right forum this time - with a photo.
