"misfire" problems.....
#11
Hmmm...
My idle got smoother with more throttle, if I gave it gas it smoothed out. It still could be a leaking valve, but maybe the ECU is able to adjust for it.
They should check it anyway.
Another possibility is dirty injectors. Have them clean the injectors. On my car, the leaking intake valve allowed unburnt fuel to deposit on the injectors, such that when they replaced the head, the problem didn't go away. Only after they cleaned the injectors did everything finally get fixed.

HHMMMMM!!!!!!!
Man, this seems like a bottomless pit. Actually, they replaced the injectors on Cyl's 4 and 6 (where the misfires are occuring). In addition, they adjusted the idle speed, put in a new knock sensor, removed and reinstalled the intake manifold, moved some of the coil packs, and (apparanlty) checked the plugs, wires, coolant temp sensor, and god-knows-what else. What could be next? I really don't want to have to go for the Lemon Law. The next time I take the car in will be the 4th visit for the same problem (the light has come on almost too many times to count). I really want to keep my car considering it can't even be replaced.
