118.42mph - that is all :o)

Maybe, maybe not. Used to run 122mph but only a 12.3sec time tops.
...but this was in my 440 Challenger convertible and you couldn't launch the thing because you'd rip the floorboard or break the windsheld. Could have pulled a mid/high 11sec in it on cheater slicks if it wouldn't hurt it sooo bad. Horrible 60'ers... rolling out and then nailing it.
Want to see all the run details on this one but pretty impressive for a car that dynoed at "only" ~340whp on 104 with cut-outs.

340wHP (447 crank) w/o cutouts - 385wHP (506 crank) with cutouts
based on stock S4 dynoing 190wHP, assuming 250 crank HP = 0.76 factor
but this was a different program than those pulls - guess I need to get back on the dyno

OK, so here are the details...
day was ho-hum...
track opened an hour late because they were drying it - 2 weeks ago it was under ~2 feet of water! (Lebanon VALLEY)
1st run - 93 oct, Aquamist off (was gonna do 1 run off, 1 run On, to see how they compared) spun all 4 - crappy 2.4 60' - Result = 13.6@106
My log didn't work on that run, and the track shut down for a spill, so I decided to screw the 93oct runs and go for 104, so I put in the gas, opened the dumps, loaded my new Beta 104 program (which APR made after I analyzed the 104 dyno logs). I took it for a rip on the street and logged it. I reviewd the logs and it looked really good, so I felt comfortable running on the strip. I actually had my MBC in parallel set to ~20psi, and that was pretty consistant with what this program wanted, so it worked out well. Actually, at some points, my MBC was holding back the program, so it had a bit more to offer... next time
2nd run - 104beta - I lowered the pressure in my tires some more, and babied the launch a bit - well apparently too much, as I bogged. 2.1 60' - still bad. An ok ET of 12.6, but an awesome trap of 118.42mph
3rd run - 104 beta - AWESOME launch - 1.79 60'. Shift to second, hit the gas, and only the RPMs increase, not the speedo - shift to 3rd, same thing - clutch slipping
4th run - wait an hour+, try again, another good launch, but still slipping - that's all, call it a day.
Also recall, I achieved the following traps with the following setups:
114.11 mph (12.358) - 104 production code, full exhaust
116.58 mph - 104 production code, open dumps
118.42 mph - 104 beta code, open dumps
So, I certainly expect that the additional 4.3mph at the traps will really bring down that 12.3 with a clean run.
Also, my buddy in his convertible had a 13.9 as his best pass at some point, and he offered me a run, so I did, having never drove his car, or any vette. It was already in the staging lanes, so no where to practice anything - well, I ran it for a 13.30@106.6 he wasn't as excited as I was He managed a 13.7 later in the day
Al's (black) supra (XXTuning) did a 10.6 @ 139 and Tom's (silver) did his first 10's at 10.8 @ 130 - I think these #'s are right (???)
There was a NHRA 350Z there, tub'd and all. Skyline engine, with a big turbo, etc. 1412wHP (!!!) Best run prior to today was 7.30 @ 190. It's on the front of some magazine right now.
I have a bunch of pics I'll put up soon.
