Hey guys
Im looking into getting in the Audi scene.. Im looking at an 00 Audi s4 silver with black leather and suede inserts.. the car is immaculate with 73000 original miles .. i know the kid who owns it now and hes babied it.. he did the steering rack when he got it less than 4000 miles ago 2 years ago.. he never drives it and wants to sell it ...it has the apr stage one chip full stainless exhaust the timing belt seal was re placed the o rings on the oil return from the turbos were replaced it has a front mount ..lowered. Im just nervous of the miles hes asking 11500 i put miles on my vehicles and i fell in love with the car but im nervous what to you experts think?

lol - it sounds like you've already made your decision. You could negotiate a better price though.

First thing you should know is that it's Alcantara, not suede. Car sounds good, though yeah, you could probably get a little better price. I think by definition, if he chipped the car, it hasn't been babied. Nobody chips a car and then avoids going WOT. That said, APR is fairly conservative programming so I don't think it's a reason not to buy the car. Have fun with it!

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Actually, a chip and a catback makes it a Stage 2. APR is great - their programming allows you to switch from chipped mode to stock mode using the cruise control button.
