2001 S4 having issues when shifting
My S4 runs fine at start up and idle. Driving, it runs up to where its ready to shift and starts bucking and wont shift I thought the fuel pump was worn out going bad. Changed it out but no difference. Dont know what to do next. Went to check tranny fluid but no dip stick. Checked the forms and found a small and large plugs in pan. Was informed small one drains and large one is for filling. So I warmed up the car and took the big plug out and it dumped everywhere..

Have you tried connecting to Vag Com and seeing if there's any errors in the transmission module in there?
The only time I've experienced something like that with my 2002 B5 S4 was when I have my OBDii bluetooth scanner connected to the car and I"m running the Torque app on my phone. I don't know why, but the car bucks a little at times. I don't know why it does that....
