Default !!!ALL AUDI ENTHUSIASTS!!! CLUSTER DISPLAY!!!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!

CALL: 1-888-327-4236 AND SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER CARE REP.

**IF THEY GET ENOUGH PEOPLE TO CALL IN ABOUT THIS PROBLEM THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT A RECALL

this has already been recalled in Europe and with enough complaints they will have to do the same in the US also...

call them and give them your VIN and they have to report it to the National Highway Traffic safety Administration

...and their website is nhtsa.gov

I personally sent a letter to AoA and to the NHTSA. I received a phone call from AoA and a response letter from NHTSA stating that there has not been enough failures reported for it to be recalled. I can copy the letter I sent as a response so that you can copy it and send it to them too if you would like.

In a nut shell... this display is needed for safe operation of the vehicle... we need to complain about it enough to get it replaced. The NHTSA needs to be the ones getting the complaints, then AoA will have no other choice.

Default what are you talking about, the center display, or flaky gauges?

I don't think the center display will qualify for a safety recall.

Default The dead pixel syndrome!!! You have a couple options...

1. Send a letter
2. Call
3. Fill out the online form

Remember, it must go to NHTSA. They are the ones that will inititiate the recall.

If your cluster is not failing... please support our effort. The cluster displays important safety information.

Default But, but what about my MPG?!?

Sadly true. There is no important info in that display.

Unless you can't see a flashing temp or oil warning, you know the one that takes up the whole screen? That might be enough to consider it a safety issue.

I know with the TT cluster it was affecting the fuel gauge, as well.

Default 1. it displays the "ok" system check...

2. it shows low coolant.
3. it shows overheating
4. it shows brake light malfunction.

Please support the effort. Everyone is aware of the defective piece, however, we all just turn it off and accept it. Doesn't it bother you that it is not working.
