Default Another ECUx noob question

okay, cannot even get the damn thing started. I got the registration done, created a group, then went to properties and all I get is a list of VAG111, VAG112, VAG122.... The list goes on. I see in the Archives that people have used VAG122, but I expected to see Audi S4 like it shows in the help section, yes I used Help. I have a M-box. So am I missing a step or do I need to choose a specific VAG122, etc?

Also, I have a VAG Com cable and went to uninstall the current version to revert back to old version like the post below states, but There is no uninstall program and I don't see Vag Com under my Program list to uninstall from Control Panel. Will re-naming the folder and installing the old version work? Or am I just better off to find a straight USB OBDII cable?

I am tired and anxious for tomorrow, I hope I can get thing running for the dyno run tomorrow.

TIA

Default Try Vag 120 like Hdia said. That is the M box code. Where are you dynoing tomorrow?

It can be a PITA with the vag cable to get it hooked up. Make sure that you disconnect the cable from the OBD port if you have had VAG up and running. I don't know why but I have to do this in when I switch from VAG to ECUx.

Default Check here too before asking people stuff...

They'll thank you for it. Odds are whatever questions you are going to ask have already been answered billions of times

http://s4wiki.com/wiki/ECU_Explorer</a
