Default Any know which chip in the ECU is the modified one when an ECU

is indeed chipped???

It is ether labled and removable on a pin header, on a separate board. Or it is the flash chip on the board.

They either flash or replaced the flash memory chip.

S4/RS4/A6 has AM29F800, and A4 has AM29F400 if I recall.
